Five easy tips for staying hydrated this summer: • Drink before feeling thirsty. By the time you feel thirsty, you are already behind. • Drink a glass of water first thing when you wake up, and 30 minutes before each meal. (Helps with digestion too!) • Use alarms or notifications on your smart devices as reminders to hydrate throughout the day. • Infuse plain water with your favorite flavoring — or try sparkling water, seltzer, or even coconut water which is a naturally sweet electrolyte. •  Remember to keep your pets hydrated too in the summer heat! Finally, if you drink from a single-use plastic bottle, remember to recycle with the cap on the bottle.
