Congratulations to our amazing Southwest METRO Green Line Extension team for achieving another milestone on this historic project! Crews recently completed Milestone 12, which involved the substantial completion of Segments 8, 10, 11, 12, and 13. Lunda/McCrossan joint venture employees and subcontractors had a cookout to celebrate. The METRO Green Line Extension (also known as the Southwest Light Rail Transit project or SWLRT) is the single largest infrastructure project ever undertaken in Minnesota. This community-building investment will be a vital resource to connect people with opportunities, providing access to jobs, education, and the social amenities the communities along the line have to offer. There have been many milestones reached and a lot of hard work accomplished on this important project.
