About us
CSUN Geomatics and Aerial Environmental Research Group (GAERG) is a student-operated research group and laboratory at California State University-Northrige, department of Geography and Environmental Studies. The primary focus of the GAERG is to utilize Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) to derive advanced methodologies for their use as a remote sensing tool withing Geography, and across the broader field of Earth Sciences. GAERG has a history of providing CSUN Geography students with opportunities to gain applied research experience, polish their skills in the field, and gain a higher level of professionalism through teamwork.
