Our 16th CSX Heritage Locomotive, numbered #1834, is officially on track! This locomotive proudly bears the livery of the historic Georgia Railroad, which was chartered in Athens, GA. At its peak, the Georgia Railroad expanded to include key cities and hundreds of miles of track. It later became part of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad and the Family Lines System, ultimately evolving into our modern CSX. Celebrate this rich heritage with us as we honor the legacy of the Georgia Railroad!

CSX proudly recognized Juneteenth with multiple celebratory events that provided insights into African American history and culture.
