Mansoor Sakhiy joins Culinary Angels as Executive Director! Mansoor brings over 16 years of non-profit leadership experience, strategic planning, innovative fundraising, and leading marketing teams for humanitarian causes, with a commitment to social change and sustainable development to our organization. He has been dedicated to the international relief non-profit sector, most recently with Orphans In Need out of Dublin, CA which saw significant growth under his leadership. “I am incredibly honored to join Culinary Angels as the new Executive Director. The mission of providing nourishing meals to those facing a cancer challenge deeply resonates with me. I’m excited to work alongside such a dedicated staff, volunteers, and board members who have been instrumental in driving this impactful mission forward. A special thank you to Lisa McNaney for her vision and leadership in building such an amazing organization, and I look forward to continuing her legacy.” Lisa recently stepped down from her role as Executive Director stating, “We are in a perfect position to be taken to the next level of growth and be able to provide greater impact to those in need." Everyone at Culinary Angels is extremely grateful to Lisa for her vision, dedication, and leadership of Culinary Angels throughout all the growth experienced since its founding. About us
Culinary Angels is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that provides nutrient-rich meals and nutrition education to those actively going through a cancer challenge. Meals are delivered free-of-charge throughout Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Danville California. Our program believes that caregivers play a critical part in a person’s ability to heal and recover. Therefore we provide meals not only to the recipient, but to their caregiver in an effort to minimize the stress and responsibilities that can often go along with the important role they fill. Culinary Angels was created to not only provide hope, health and wellness, but the opportunity to exemplify nutritional education to its recipients. Our service visually represents a healthy, healing meal, and includes critical ingredients that promote fortification at a time in a person’s life where they can experience the benefits. Our volunteers are trained to cook with as many organic ingredients as possible and focus on nutrient-rich, plant-based, seasonal ingredients. Emphasis is placed on using cruciferous vegetables, sea vegetables and homemade broths in our soups. Culinary Angels believes this philosophy will help promote health, wellness, and hope to people who are compromised by their challenge. Organic, healing foods are an important part of our bodies' natural instinct to be well!
