Frederick Morsches here. I am delighted to share the Hotel Splendide Royal Rome, another of Culture Traveler's favorite hotels, and a perfect hub for a getaway in the Eternal City. The quiet, central location, just off the Via Veneto, adjacent to the beautiful Villa Borghese Gardens, is a leisurely stroll to the Galleria Borghese, one of the world’s great museums. This discrete, sophisticated, elegant 5-Star hotel, a recently-renovated late 19th century palace with only 85 rooms, is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. and the Signature Travel Network Preferred Hotel Program. Each of its exquisite rooms and suites offers the latest technology, contemporary design and classic style. A hallmark of the hotel is its charming, warm and welcoming service. Mirabelle, the hotel’s panoramic rooftop restaurant has splendid views over the Villa Borghese Gardens and the rooftops of Rome… with the enchanting Vatican dome in the distance. I can’t imagine a more devine location to celebrate the Festive Season. #culturetraveler #eternalcity #VillaBorgheseGardens #luxurytravel

Happy Wednesday, dear Culture Travelers! Kareem George here, on location in Slovenia. It is supper time once again and we have a truly unique restaurant to feature this week… Owned and operated by a charming pair of talented brothers, COB has been my most innovative dining to date. Bravo to Filip and Patrik on creating a culinary experience that is fun, tasty, educational, surprising, creative and more. They represent the fifth generation of restaurant owners in their family! As always, photos never do such a special experience justice, however they hopefully inspire you nonetheless. If you are a foodie, this restaurant alone is reason enough for you to visit Slovenia. And you will need to book in advance as COB only serves 4 tables a night. Message me for more details on this incredible dinner or for further insights on Slovenia in general. Bon appetite #finedining #Michelin #slovenia #portoroz #luxuryslovenia #luxurytravel

Fritz Morsches from Culture Traveler here. We eagerly anticipate returning to Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa, one of our favorite hotels in the world. This legendary health spa-palace hotel opened in 1872, is currently under a complete renovation and is expected to fully reopen mid-summer 2025. It is located in magical Baden-Baden, Germany in the Black Forest, two hours south of Frankfurt. Facing the fashionable Lichtentaler promenade, it offers an oasis of beauty surrounded by enchanting parkland minutes from bustling, elegant central Baden-Baden. Its guest rooms and suites are among the most beautiful and comfortable in the world. The hotel's warm service makes one feel as royal as the many kings and empresses who have visited before. Palatial salons are complemented by Fritz & Felix, a casual restaurant presenting local delicacies with international influences, and the appealing Wintergarten, which offers beautiful views of the private park. The Villa Stéphanie spa encompasses a 5,380-square-foot sauna, a gym and a Roman-style indoor pool. With a strong emphasis on naturopathy, medical professionals specialize in physical and rehabilitative medicine and preventive health care. In addition to the marvelous restaurants, fashionable shops and art galleries, and lovely gardens, the city of Baden-Baden offers some of the most outstanding cultural performances in the world at its renowned Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, where, next June- at the time of the hotel's reopening- the London Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert of several Berlioz masterworks. Please contact me for additional information about this special location. #OetkerCollection #visitbadenbaden #germany #luxurytravel #blackforest

Hi it’s Elizabeth Sherbin here with an update on entry requirements for travelers to Britain starting in April 2025. Please contact us with any questions The British government has rolled out a new requirement for travelers hoping to visit the country. An "Electronic Travel Authorization" (ETA) has been implemented that digitizes tourists' requests to visit the country while paying a fee of about $13. "Everyone wishing to travel to the U.K. – except British and Irish citizens – will need permission to travel in advance of coming here," says the United Kingdom government’s site. The ETAs are linked to a traveler’s passport in an effort to smooth security checks and "prevent abuse" of the immigration system. The United Kingdom is introducing Electronic Travel Authorization in an effort to smooth security checks and "prevent abuse" of the immigration system. (iStock) There were 38 million visits to the U.K. during 2023, an increase of 6.7 million visits compared with 2022, according to the U.K. Office for National Statistics. For more Lifestyle articles, visit www.foxnews.com/lifestyle An online form will be made available asking for valid passport information, travel details, an email address and a credit or debit card, along with "suitability questions." The ETA applies to anyone visiting for up to six months for tourism, to see family and friends, for business or for short-term study. "The worldwide expansion of the ETA demonstrates our commitment to enhance security through new technology and embedding a modern immigration system," the minister for Migration and Citizenship, Seema Malhotra, said in a press release. "[Digitization] enables a smooth experience for the millions of people who pass through the border every year, including the visitors we warmly welcome to the UK who are predicted to contribute over £32 billion to our tourism economy this year," added Malhotra. The United Kingdom will require all tourists to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization before visiting the country to seek permission and pay a fee of about $13. Hi, Suzanne here! As many of you know, I’ve been on a plane at least once a month this year—sometimes twice. So, I’ve become quite the expert on preparing for flights. Here’s my guide to packing the perfect carry-on, from fashion to skincare. Carry-On Guide: From Fashion to Skincare Fall is here, and it's the ideal time to travel. Google searches for flights are way up globally, so whether for business or leisure, packing smart is key. Here’s what to pack to ensure a pleasant trip, especially during delays or long waits on the tarmac. What to Wear Think of your carry-on as your “just in case” kit, covering what you’d need if your checked bag goes missing. Some people dress for the beach in flip-flops and shorts, but it’s better to aim for stylish comfort—and dressing well might help you get an upgrade! We recommend a long-sleeved T-shirt, loose pants, slip-on sneakers or flats, a sweater or jacket, and a scarf. Brands like James Perse and Lululemon offer great options for comfort and style, and ballet flats from Amazon make security checks easy. Don’t forget socks! What to Pack in Your Carry-On Once your outfit’s sorted, here’s what you should pack. Check your airline’s carry-on size and weight limits. Typically, you’re allowed one carry-on and a personal item, like a purse. Skincare Essentials: Moisturizer – Keep your skin hydrated. Rose Water Spray – A refreshing mid-flight spritz. Sunscreen – UV rays are stronger at 30,000 feet. Lip Balm – Combat dry cabin air. Hand Moisturizer – Keep your hands soft. Disinfectant Wipes – Clean your space and hands. Eye Cream – Prevent tired, puffy eyes. Collagen Face Mask – Refresh your skin after a long flight. Snacks: Avoid in-flight unhealthy options by packing your own. Our TSA-friendly snack recipes are nutritious and easy to pack. Don’t forget an empty water bottle to fill up before boarding. Comfort & Entertainment: Noise-Canceling Headphones – Bose are top quality. Kindle or iPad – Download books, shows, or movies. Airline App – Many airlines have moved to app-based entertainment. Warm Sweater – Cabins can be chilly. Cozy Socks – For walking around the cabin. Eye Mask – Block out light for better sleep. External Charger – Keep devices powered. Toothbrush & Toothpaste – Freshen up before landing. Gum or Mints – Stay refreshed and hydrated. Travel Pillow – Maximize your comfort. Pain Relievers – For headaches or discomfort. With this list, you're ready for your next flight. Pack smart and enjoy your trip! #TravelBlogger #LuxuryTravel #Airport #Vacation #CarryOn
