Every employee within your company has the potential to create a meaningful change

About us

CultureBee is a people tech platform that helps companies promote and reward meaningful employee behaviors. The tool delivers targeted, multi-channel nudges to encourage small, gamified actions across various areas - from people programs (DEI, CSR, Values, Wellbeing, L&D) to functional work areas (sales, customer success, product, etc.). Much of the company culture and business success is rooted not in big projects delivered by a few but in small actions taken by as many as possible. We've developed a tool to create, internally market, and reward these behaviors across the entire organization.

Are You a Human-Centric Leader? 🌐 Leading a modern workforce requires more than just strategic acumen; it demands a human touch. As CEOs, your actions and behaviors set the tone for the entire organization, offering a unique opportunity to create a sense of community in a world where workplace loneliness and FOBO are on the rise. This holiday season, seize the opportunity to showcase your human side! Need inspiration? Draw from those who've mastered the art of being 'with the people.' A quick Google search will reveal fascinating real-life examples of leaders - think Satya Nadella and Brian Chesky - who've seamlessly blended their human side with leadership. Yet, human-centricity remains an underappreciated aspect of the tech-enabled world. Why should you care? 🤔 According to the World Leadership Survey conducted by the Center for Creative Leadership, “Employees of all ages and at all levels believe that effective leaders are humane-oriented, participative, team-oriented, and charismatic.” The good news? Instead of overhauling your leadership style, you can tailor your approach to infuse your human side into the moments that matter. Let’s circle back to the opportunities that the holiday season presents. 🎉 Heading to the holiday party? Take the time to write a speech recognizing and appreciating the hard work and achievements of your employees throughout the year. Share a personal story of resilience, a favorite holiday memory, or even a funny mishap. Opening up about your own experiences makes you relatable and approachable. 🤝 Supporting charitable initiatives during this holiday season? Use this opportunity to address your people and foster a sense of community. This year has been challenging for many, and a simple, 'I know this year has been tough, and I appreciate each one of you,' goes a long way. 🌟 Has your People Team organized an in-person or virtual team-building activity?  Attend and show your commitment. Your enthusiasm and engagement can significantly impact the company culture. Here’s a real-life success story for you: 🐝 a CEO of one of CultureBee's companies participated in a virtual 'Showcase Your Home-Baked Cookies' challenge. The image that he uploaded featured a traditional Christmas treat that his family bakes and enjoys every December. Not only did this gesture add a touch of holiday spirit to the remote work environment, but it also inspired others to share their own holiday traditions, recipes, and experiences, creating a sense of unity. What a way to infuse authenticity and humanity into the business narrative! Being a leader in the age of AI is about adaptability and connection. Embrace the fact that you can't be physically present with your entire team all the time, whether they're working from home or in the office. Prioritize the moments that matter and make time for the human touch.  #Leadership #HumanTouch #Hybrid #CEOs #Remote #CEO #CultureBuzz

Grappling with this thing called FOBO? It may sound like another workplace buzzword, but the weight of the Fear Of Becoming Obsolete is undeniably real. You find yourself bombarded by headlines, blog posts, and ads, all serving as constant reminders that the skills you've mastered might soon be replaced by something newer, shinier, and undoubtedly more complex. ➡️ The fear of uncertainty induces a stress response. ➡️ Elevated cortisol levels lead to increased anxiety and potentially impair your cognitive functions. ➡️ This, in turn, impacts your ability to make decisions about your professional or personal trajectory, further exacerbating feelings of fear and uncertainty. Ignoring FOBO is like letting weeds take over a garden - your vibrant potential gets suffocated, and you become a shadow of what you could be. It's a downward spiral, a continuous deterioration that becomes increasingly difficult to control. Here's the good news: there's a way to break free from this vicious cycle before it takes the better of you. 💡 Challenge your FOBO with cognitive restructuring! Throughout your workweek, observe any negative thoughts related to staying relevant in your industry. Write them down. Schedule 20-30 minutes at the end of the week to address those concerns. Challenge the validity of each thought. Are there alternative, more positive perspectives waiting to be acknowledged? Examples: Negative Thought: "I'm falling behind in my industry." Challenge: "What skills have I acquired recently that contribute to my expertise?" Negative Thought: "Younger professionals have more up-to-date knowledge than I do." Challenge: "In what ways do my experience and wisdom bring value to my work?" Negative Thought: "Technology is evolving faster than I can keep up." Challenge: "How can I leverage my current skills while strategically learning new technologies?" Negative Thought: "I'm losing my edge; my skills are outdated." Challenge: "How can I use my experience to offer a unique perspective that newer skills might not provide?" By engaging in this exercise, you confront the root of your fears, challenge their validity, and open up space for making thoughtful moves and responding to change effectively. Remember, being adaptable doesn't mean you have to sprint to keep up with every trend. It's more about focusing on what's essential and manageable rather than succumbing to the pressure of overwhelm. #AI #FOBO #BigIdeas2024 #CultureBuzz #PersonalDevelopment #wellbeing

It’s #GivingTuesday 2023, and our bee hearts are buzzing with joy seeing all the creative and innovative ways you, HR leaders, are finding to unite your teams around the causes they hold dear. 🐝💕 We all have something to give. And we all can create change wherever we are. And it is truly heartwarming to see how people show up for each other and with each other to create ripples of generosity. In the spirit of sharing, here's a bit of wisdom gleaned from our data: If you want your workplace Giving Campaigns to rock, remember, Giving Tuesday isn't just about money. It's also about sprinkling goodness, one small act at a time. Embrace the magic, support your team's unique passions, and nudge them to share their good deeds! We might share a mission, but our paths and what we find meaningful differ. Let your people contribute in a way that is meaningful to them! Speaking of meaningful contributions, here are a few acts of generosity, other than charitable giving, that are lighting up CultureBee this holiday season: 🤲 Offering skills and time to local organizations and shelters (aka volunteering). 👕 Donating clothes, toys, food, and other goods to organizations that distribute them to those in need. 🌱 Supporting small local businesses. 💖 Engaging in random acts of kindness: leaving a surprise for the mail carrier, sharing home-baked goods, thanking a veteran, offering someone coffee, expressing gratitude to the work-family. Does your workplace radiate kindness and generosity this holiday season? Hey CultureBee followers! 🐝 As we gear up to feast on Thanksgiving delights and bask in the cozy vibes, it's all too easy to let the holiday calories sneak up on us. But fear not, we've got a plan that involves more than just loosening our belts! Let's make this Thanksgiving not just about the treats 🦃 but also about creating lasting memories of shared experiences and healthy habits. And by 'healthy habits,' we mean more than just reaching for the salad fork instead of the dessert spoon (though that helps too). Here’s a #ThanksgivingChallenge for you: Sprinkle a bit of fitness magic into your celebrations. Go on a post-feast outdoor stroll to walk off that slice of pie or have a spontaneous 10-minute dance-off to your favorite holiday tunes because nothing says 'Turkey Day' like turning your living room into a makeshift dance floor, where even the gravy boats are getting in on the rhythm!! Wishing you and your family a #Thanksgiving filled with warmth, gratitude, and a touch of fitness fun! 🍁💪 Feel free to drop your amusing fitness stories in the comments below! #wellbeing #FitAndFestive #CultureBuzz #Challenge

Celebrate Small Wins 🎉 Want an engagement hack that works every time? Here's one from our magic library ✨ . Every Friday for the next 4 weeks, prompt your team to publicly call out a small win they've had individually or as a group. It's not bragging if you asked them to do it 😎 ! Here's a quick template you can throw into Teams or Slack. Enjoy! Celebrate Small Wins ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ We all have those days when the pace of our progress feels slow, setbacks seem numerous, and the finish line looks like it's miles away. In these moments, it's important to remember that every little step forward is a victory in itself. Research suggests that seeing or feeling that we are making progress increases positivity, enhances our motivation, and actually helps us perform better. So, let's make it a habit to acknowledge the small moments that make up our journeys and recognize each other's wins, however tiny they might seem. Here’s how to complete this challenge: For the next 4 weeks, take a few minutes each week to share a win, no matter how small. Whether it's achieving a weekly sales target, finishing a challenging report, learning a new tool, or receiving positive feedback from a colleague or client, let's acknowledge these moments and celebrate them. Cheers to the journey and every step along the way! 🎉
