The IFSS Program seeks to provide a focused, family-oriented educational and supportive approach to enhancing the overall functioning of families with a loved one who has a psychiatric disability. The IFSS Program is available to all families in need of its services within Cumberland County and is not contingent upon a family's ability to pay for services or the loved one being treated in a program. The IFSS Program is available to adult caregivers and adult family members of individuals with psychiatric disabilities including parents. spouses, siblings, and/or children. Others who may benefit from IFSS services include relatives who are closely involved with and concerned about the loved one's daily functioning, or non-relatives who are the loved one's primary caregivers. Last week, The Guidance Center proudly dedicated the Hurley Memorial Peace Garden, located on our main Carmel Road campus. The garden is dedicated to Jim and Wally Hurley for their many contributions to our community. The Hurleys were celebrated by family, friends, and other community members with speeches and a luncheon to honor their memory as we officially open the garden.
