    Two big things to remember when you are terminating an employee 😰😰😰 1. Be SURE that you have the proper documentation and all of your ducks in a row! Have a certified HR professional review all documentation for you. The goal is to PREVENT this issue from going so far as to need to call in your attorney. CYB Human Resources is AKA the stop between Google and your attorney. Our secret? Prevent an issue from escalating! 2. Start the conversation by clarifying why you are having this meeting!

    🙂 First of all, we always say that Employee Handbooks are living, breathing documents! They must be reviewed and updated regularly. (HINT: If your employees have not signed your Employee Handbook, you don't have an Employee Handbook.) Laws update daily! You must stay on top of legal updates to be sure to update your handbook! * Be sure to have your employees sign all updates!* We use DocuSign! 😉 1️⃣ Include company policies, code of conduct, and benefits info. (We like to keep the benefits section as general as possible, so you don't need to update that every year!) 2️⃣ Keep it clear, concise, and welcoming! 📖 3️⃣ Stay in the loop on legal and industry twists, ensuring your employee handbook stays fair and in compliance with the law. 👍 Partnering with CYB, you can be sure that your handbook is comprehensive and compliant.
