Today, the social media profile of Bangladeshi activist and reformer Ms. Taslima Nasreen was memorialized while she is still alive. Ms. Nasreen took to her platform on X to express her frustration as three days had passed, and no action had been taken despite her reaching out to the platform for immediate assistance. This incident sheds light on the growing concerns regarding the credibility of social media platforms such as Facebook (Meta). It prompts us to consider whether we live in a perilous world where falsified information is validated through peer review, overshadowing the truth within a tangled web of misinformation. Whether Artificial Intelligence and its integration with social media platforms is being used to amplify politically correct and partisan arguments, leading to a bleak future that challenges the basic morality and principles that serve humanity. Writes Sanjana Rathi. Read on: https://lnkd.in/gxM8_anr #cyberdiplomacy #cybersecurity

It was an honour to be able to exhibit The CyberDiplomat ‘s “Cyberdiplomacy As a Service” at ITU WTSA 2024, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. At this platform we were able to showcase the need for Cyberdiplomacy as a Service for all Industry, Regulatory and Government Stakeholders. It was amazing to see that people identify this as a critical issue that requires attention. We at The CyberDiplomat are working on solving these issues of international concern. If you are a company organisation or academia working on cutting edge technology and critical infrastructure domain, we are there to serve you. We are always open to collaborating and partnerships that will add value and build a sustainable future for all of us. In the craziness of making something new that will change the world, we must not forget the social and humanitarian implications of our efforts. With AI development we expect vulnerabilities that would require human integrity and astute management. Thanks to International Telecommunication Union for this wonderful opportunity. We look forward to seeing you again at the UN Day. #ITUWTSA2024

During the pandemic, I contacted Tata Trusts, offering my pro-bono support for their noble mission to serve society during these challenging times. Despite receiving a full unconditional scholarship to study Security & Diplomacy at Tel Aviv University, I was surprised by their response. They thanked me for my support and wished me the best in my future endeavors. It's rare to encounter organizations that don't seek to exploit a young professional's energy, vision, and ambition for personal gain. Another notable experience was during the TATA Tech Byte Competition. As engineering students, Sowmya Rajkumar and I formed an all-women team representing our college in the state-level quiz. The platform helped build confidence in engineering students like us to compete and succeed. The Tata Group's exceptional standards, ethics, and leadership stand out. Sir. Ratan Tata is the ethical leadership of our time, embodying humility, groundedness, and hardwork. While meeting him may be an unattainable dream, his legacy will continue to thrive through its impact on millions of lives, including mine. #ForeverGrateful

I had an amazing moment moderating the panel discussion on "AI and Privacy: How much data is too much?" organized by the FutureGPT community in Pune, India. The event was a resounding success, with the participation of around a 100 people from the industry and academia. The panel discussion was not only informative but also showed how important our community is.The insights shared by Rohit Srivastwa, Navin Kabra and Sneha Joshi were truly enlightening, shedding light on Data Protection Regulation and the idea of Privacy in an era where all the companies want to commercialise on building AI with all the data they can procure. Ms. Sneha's perspective on the global nature of privacy issues, Mr. Rohit's pragmatic approach to enhancing privacy through cybersecurity, and Mr. Navin's experience and thoughts on anonymisation and AI governance in corporations were all invaluable. The discussion we had opened up many new topics of discussion and debate. As we look forward to continuing this important dialogue, I invite the wider community to share their perspectives and insights. Your participation is crucial to the success of this ongoing discussion. 1. In reality how much of data can be anonymised and what type of data can never be anonymised?  2. If our data is unanimously being used for development of better services and by industries for better products, can we expect government to give subsidy on use of our data and online activities in the near future?  3. The privacy practice and regulations were conceived in a pre-AI era and could scarcely foresee the profound implications of the rapid evolution of AI. Therefore, what are the possible changes we can expect in the coming days? A heartfelt thank you to Nikhil Agarwal, Shivani Tikadia Nadkarni, Manpreet Singh - CISSP, and Harsh Sanghvi for their hard work in organizing this insightful event. I also extend my gratitude to Blazeclan Technologies for their invaluable support. #Cybersecurity #Privacy #ArtificialIntelligence

"The introduction of Chat GPT has catapulted discussions of the potential and impacts of next-generation Artificial Intelligence (AI) at every level of society. Nation-state decision-makers have struggled with the non-trivial questions of “what would AI policy and strategy look like?” “What would be the central tenets of such policy and strategy?”, and “what would the desired strategic outcomes of such artifacts be?” Equally relevant are the challenges of constructing such policy and strategy when faced with the uncertain nature of the coming technological evolution."
