📌 A major milestone update: Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center has now screened 5000 patients with the IntelliSep sepsis test since implementation in August 2023— leading to significant improvements in recognition, time to treatment, and overall patient outcomes. Hear from an Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center patient, Terri White, who was flagged as high-risk for sepsis within minutes of taking the IntelliSep test within the ED, and immediately “pulled out of the waiting room” and admitted for treatment. “When I was told that I had sepsis, I was shocked, and also scared, because I didn’t realize I was so sick.
