We are honored to have won the Plantum Sustainability Award 2024, in collaboration with Naturalis Biodiversity Center, for developing an innovative method to test and breed plants for insect-friendliness. The team from our propagation farm in El Salvador recently celebrated a successful Poinsettia season with a special event on September 4! The afternoon event featured a special lunch, lively festivities, and a heartfelt acknowledgment of the team’s hard work and dedication. Management took the opportunity to congratulate the staff on completing this first major step of the year, reminding them that the greater challenge of the Spring season lies ahead. As part of the celebration, everyone received a symbolic orange bracelet with the important message for the upcoming season: "Satisfaction Through Excellence." In addition to recognizing past achievements, the event also marked the transition into the Spring season. The team discussed farm goals, top priorities, and how each individual can contribute to success with a strong emphasis on attitude, quality, and productivity, striving for excellence in every task.

We are excited to share with you the colorful space we had at the Convention of Society of American Florists in Mami. We were present at the breeder’s alley where we displayed a selection of premium varieties of cut mum, roses, statice and, carnations. We had amazing feedback from all floral designers. Varieties Lucy, Lamira Red, Arya+, Miss Piggy+, Veronica Salmon, Tessa Lavender and our Baberatus Line were everyone’s favorites. We are also proud to announce that our very own Venturoso rose won the Blue Ribbon on SAF's Variety Competition grown by Jet Fresh Flower Distributors & Jet Fresh Flower Growers, S.A. Our team enjoyed connecting with everyone a couple of weeks ago at Cultivate '24 in Columbus, Ohio. Our perennials display was a huge hit. With our expanded availability and new varieties such as Buddleja Little Rockstars and Solstice Delosperma, plus tried and true favorites like our Gaillardia SpinTop® series, we had everything for the perennial lover. The booth also included a mixture of our annuals, potted plants, and our Welcome to the Jungle® collection. Some of the standouts were our new Scaveola Scala Capello series and our Confetti Garden® mixes of pot mums. We were proud to celebrate our very own QiuXia Chen at the GPN 40 Under 40 event as well.
