Our colleague Patrick Katandula Mukupa was pleased to join the Training of Trainers for the Community Health Information Platform (CHIP) in #Zambia, organized by PATH and the Ministry of Health 👨🏾⚕️ CHIP is a potential game-changer for community health workers in the country, helping them deliver better health services and use data to drive decisions. The training was a great opportunity to learn how digital tools like this can improve health systems. D-tree's role in the project is to evaluate how CHIP supports community health workers in their day-to-day jobs and provide feedback that can strengthen the platform 📲

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Carolyne Faith, CHW Engagement Manager at the Community Health Impact Coalition, at our #Zanzibar office. While Carolyne was in town for the Tanzania Health Summit, we used the opportunity to introduce her to a group of dedicated community health workers from the Jamii ni Afya Program. These community health workers provide essential maternal, newborn, and child health services across Zanzibar. Many of them are among the first 60 participants to complete the Community Health Impact Coalition's online advocacy training for CHWs, which is now being tested in Swahili. We love seeing this initiative arming Zanzibar's community health workforce to advocate for improved community health! ✊🏾
