Here’s a summary of the main points discussed: 1️⃣ Market Focus & Customer Priorities Participants emphasized the importance of focusing on one primary market when starting to scale, rather than spreading resources too thin. The discussion highlighted that tech adoption hinges more on the value and cost benefits to customers rather than novelty. A customer-centered approach to understanding benefits, total cost of ownership and risk reduction is crucial.   2️⃣ Business Models & Market Potential Whether licensing technology, selling products or offering Energy as a Service influences how to enter new markets. Market expectations and cultures might differ per country, even in Europe. Using partners, resellers or own staff are options to be considered carefully to assure local insights.   3️⃣ Local Presence & Recruitment To establish credibility, a local presence is often key. This can include forming partnerships, setting up legal entities, or hiring local representatives who understand regional business practices. Timely recruitment was noted as a challenge, with participants advising early planning to address language and cultural nuances.   4️⃣ Lessons from the Ventures  Participants shared lessons on leveraging complementary services with other ventures, de-risking technology through pilots, and planning strategies based on market data.
