The DALE Foundation is the official affiliate of the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). The DALE Foundation offers interactive e-learning courses and study aids to help dental assistants prepare for DANB exams, earn continuing education, and advance their careers. The DALE Foundation is a nonprofit organization and was founded by DANB in 2010. The DALE Foundation benefits the public by providing quality continuing education and conducting sound research to promote oral health.

Since 2004, DANB's Dental Assistants Salary and Satisfaction Survey has consistently shown that higher pay is a key benefit (though certainly not the only one!) of being a Certified Dental Assistant. That continues to hold true in our 2024 survey. Of course, many factors can determine a dental assistant's salary, such as practice location, experience, and education.
