Proceeds support homeless alcoholics and addicts in achieving sobriety and self-sufficiency. 🧡 Join Dallas Symphony Orchestra on October 29 for a Day of the Dead concert celebrating life and honoring loved ones. 🌟 What if your mentor felt more like family? That’s exactly the heart of Primos Dallas, founded by Alicia Serrato. As a first-gen American, Alicia knows the value of guidance rooted in shared experiences and cultural values. At Primos, students choose their own mentors, fostering strong bonds and personal growth. 💪 Take Josue, for example. He started as a shy student sitting quietly in the back of the classroom, unsure of his future. Alicia says he has found his voice since being paired with an energetic mentor. Now, he's on track to graduate from the University of North Texas at Dallas, co-founded a civic engagement group for Latinos, and has spoken on behalf of DACA students in Austin and Washington, D.C.
