Machine Learning & Computer Vision Researchers & Engineers! Come help solve one of the most challenging manufacturing problems in the world 👇
As of today, **over 2 million Americans** have a dental prosthetic made by Dandy in the USA! 🎉🇺🇸💪 We are restoring America as a powerhouse of manufacturing innovation and using 3D Computer Vision to solve one of the most challenging manufacturing problems in the world - custom-made 3D prosthetics. 🏭🧊 🔍 Why is it challenging? Each unit is uniquely personalized for patients, requiring manual 3D design for every single one of the 250,000 units we shipped in October. This process can take hours, and can be a major source of errors if done wrong. 🧠 How are we solving it? We are leveraging recent advances in 3D differentiable deformation models to generate high-quality, dental prosthetic meshes at scale. We have the fastest-growing dataset of both 3D patient scans and high-quality prosthetic designs created by our exceptional workforce of 400+ designers around the globe 🌍. 🔗 Interested in helping us solve these problems? Check out our open positions and join the Dandy team today. We are particularly investing in bringing on Machine Learning & Computer Vision Researchers and Engineers. https://2ly.link/20sPy

We at Dandy work with brilliant minds every day, and the result is the incredible innovation our dental partners use to treat their patients better. Off the clock—when our Dandians are not working on industry-leading quality, efficiency, and workflows—many of us put our brains to use in non-dental areas. Today we are highlighting Dandy Software Engineer Thenvir A. who recently published a piece called “Debugging the Anomalous” on Medium. “Suppose each person who has ever lived and each person who will ever live is a developer, working on the collaborative project we call reality. In this framework, the world can be understood as a series of creations, built on multi-generational ideologies. This also lends the world to being full of knowledge gaps, faulty code, and aging legacy programs embedded within broken systems….”
Wrote a small piece, excited to finally share it ~
