We are excited to share that Danfoss has been named the 2024 Transatlantic Company of the Year by the AmCham Denmark! The award is presented annually to a Danish company investing in the U.S. that has recently demonstrated significant achievements in growth, investment and/or innovative solutions in the U.S. market. Jørgen M. Clausen, Chairman Emeritus of Danfoss, accepted the award on behalf of our team at Moltkes Palæ in Copenhagen. “This award belongs to our 7,000 incredible colleagues across North America. They are the reason we are the Transatlantic Company of the Year,” he said. Over the past five years, Danfoss has made significant investments in projects across the U.S., including our new 145,000 sq. ft. Turbocor factory in Tallahassee, Fla., that opened this past May, doubling production capacity for our oil-free, magnetic-bearing Turbocor compressors and creating new jobs; two new assembly lines at our semiconductor and power module production facility in Utica, N.Y; and an expanded Application Development Center and manufacturing plant at our Danfoss Power Solutions facility in Ames, Iowa. We are honored by this recognition and look forward to continuing to innovate and expand our U.S. business. #Danfoss #TransatlanticAward #Sustainability #Innovation #WeAreDanfoss

Ricardo Schneider, Head of Danfoss Turbocor Compressors, has announced his retirement transition effective January 1, 2025. Ricardo joined Danfoss in 1992 as a regional sales manager in his native Brazil and followed as a General Manager in Monterrey -Mexico, Vice President of Global Accounts based in Baltimore USA, and became the CEO and President of Danfoss Turbocor in 2009. He led an extraordinarily innovative team, through a period of unprecedented growth, including the opening and expanding of factories in China, the USA, and Denmark, adding significant R&D infrastructure, and manufacturing in Tallahassee, including the 145,000 SQF new earlier this year. Turbocor’s oil-free and magnetic-bearing compressor technology has helped reduce the carbon footprint of key infrastructure such as data centers, hospitals, hotels and airports. Ricardo’s leadership facilitated the Danfoss Turbocor team to deliver impressive results like quadrupling production capacity, and revenue increased nearly tenfold since he took the reins. In addition to unleashing the innovation that led to winning multiple AHR awards for innovation in 2015, 2018, 2020 and the AHR Expo Product of the Year award in 2022. Ricardo has also championed the Danfoss ESG initiatives. He was a major driver of Danfoss Turbocor’s ongoing partnership with the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering which provides scholarships to underrepresented minority students in engineering and has been a mentor and cheerleader to Danfoss Turbocor employees at all career stages. Rogerio Federici, Turbocor’s Head of Sales and Marketing, will succeed Ricardo as the new Head of Danfoss Turbocor Compressors. Ricardo will remain onboard as an Executive Advisor for Danfoss, ensuring a smooth transition for the business and Tallahassee community. We thank Ricardo for all of the ways he has impacted Danfoss and wish him the best in his next chapter!
