Updates

  • We wrapped up the summer season with a field day at Pawtuckaway State Park! Re:Build DAPR split into teams and spent the day competing against each other in outdoor activities, relay races, and speed challenges. Our favorite activity of the day was the engineering challenge. Each team was tasked with building a drivable boat from cardboard and duct tape, but only a few stayed dry. Thanks to everyone involved who made it a successful event! #TeamEvent #CompanyCulture #WorkLifeBalance #Q2Recap

  • Meet Daniel Willins, Re:Build DAPR’s Summer Intern! Over the last three months, Daniel has made a positive impact on several projects while enhancing his industry experience and knowledge. With an interest in automation, he chose to join our team to gain hands-on experience and contribute to real-world projects. During his time with us, Daniel worked on various projects and refined his technical abilities. Daniel developed his proficiencies in finite element analysis and SolidWorks Simulation by studying the deflection of automation components. To help the team visualize operator and automation interactions, he used his creativity to develop product prototypes using DAPR’s 3D printers. Daniel is pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree with a minor in Robotics Engineering as a rising junior at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Outside of academics, Daniel enjoys spending time outdoors and is an active member of WPI’s high-power rocketry club, outing club, and fencing club. We were thrilled to have Daniel on our team for the summer and look forward to seeing him succeed in his future endeavors. If you or someone you know is looking for an internship, co-op, or entry-level position, please complete or share this application link to join DAPR’s team! https://lnkd.in/gmbkensz

Today, we celebrate National Made in the USA Day. At Re:Build Manufacturing, we are rekindling the U.S. manufacturing industry and supporting the economy by growing businesses and producing goods here. We encourage consumers to choose a product with the Made in the USA label on it and urge manufacturers who are dedicated to domestic production to support like-minded businesses.

  • Re:Build DAPR recently sponsored two semesters of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Manufacturing Process and Systems class, where the students designed, prototyped, and developed the build process (manufacturing and assembly) of their product. Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to see all the processes the students had set up, ask them questions, and examine the final product, including the packaging and labels they created for 300 units. Re:Build DAPR also helped them specify the details of a new conveyor system for their lab. We’re so proud that the students successfully navigated all the challenges and are pleased to share their impressive results.
