About us
DARFUR FAST FOR LIFE | fasting in solidarity with our sudanese brothers, sisters and children Darfur Fast For Life is a global initiative launched by people who fast in solidarity with the suffering victims of genocide in Southern Sudan. On April 27, we began a fasting chain to turn the world's eyes and conscience towards the 2.7 million displaced people who are now facing starvation, and, to inspire our leaders around the world to act now. Launched on April 27, 2009 by Mia Farrow and DFFL activists, and followed by Sir Richard Branson, U.S. Representative Donald Payne, Jon Foreman and Peter Gabriel, the fast is now active in over 25 countries around the world.
