Announcement: New Chief Executive Officer DariFill has appointed James West as its new Chief Executive Officer, following a comprehensive search process. James will succeed Steve Aspery, who is retiring from day-to-day operations after 21 years as a founder and President of the company. Steve will remain in his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors. DariFill remains a 100% employee-owned ESOP company. James has extensive, global experience working with teams to grow sales, introduce new products, and improve operations across a range of business-to-business technology companies. Most recently, James ran the Toolmaker Solutions Division of Hyperion Materials and Technologies. DariFill Chairman Steve Aspery said: "We are delighted to welcome James as our new Chief Executive. Critically, James' approach is a fit with DariFill's people and customer-oriented culture. In addition, he has the right skill set and experience to ensure DariFill continues its legacy of innovation and customer service." James said: "I am blessed to join this truly unique company. Biography After graduating from Georgia Tech with a degree in Electrical Engineering, James started his career designing memory chips for IBM. After receiving his MBA and spending time in Product Management, Business Development, and Operations roles early in his career, James successfully led businesses for Kyocera, Carpenter Technology, Morgan Advanced Materials, and Knowles. He serves on the boards of Specialized Fabrication Equipment Group and Galaxy Group. James holds an MBA from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. He is married, with two children. About DariFill DariFill was formed in 2003 to serve the ice cream industry. It was determined to design and build state-of-the-art equipment that was reliable, easy to operate, and produced more product per square foot of floor space. It was also committed to always doing the right thing for its customers and its teammates. These commitments remain today as its team and capabilities have grown.
