Schools in safe areas in Sudan are slowly being opened after closures over a year. Yet issues continue to plague the educational system such as schools being used as shelters, continued attacks on education facilities, military usage of schools, and shortage of staff and supplies. Most recently, the rainy season has severely hindered progress continuing the disruption of learning in Sudan.
