Due to the massive response, the UNC System Office is currently pausing the collection of names. Stay tuned, and please be sure to keep up with the University of North Carolina System and the University of North Carolina Asheville for ways in which you and your colleagues can directly support our friends and communities in Western North Carolina! 🚨 Urgent Call to All Instructional Designers – Your Expertise is Needed! 🚨 Hurricane Helene has severely impacted many of our colleagues in Western North Carolina, particularly at UNC Asheville, where flooding has disrupted learning. Our QM community needs to transition 500 courses to virtual learning by October 28, and they need our help to ensure students' academic continuity. Dr. Racheal Brooks, Ph.D. is calling on instructional designers, faculty, and online learning experts to volunteer and support UNC Asheville in this critical transition. Your insights will help develop the first-ever national K-12 data science education framework, ensuring it is comprehensive, inclusive, and reflects the data skills students need to succeed. Data Science 4 Everyone is inviting members of the public including K-12 educators, students, and parents to vote on the 25 data science learning outcomes created by these focus groups.
