    Sure, everyone gets a craving for a sweet treat or a salty snack now and then, but would you ever say you craved a salad? Turns out, plenty of people do! Fast-casual salad chain sweetgreen ranks fourth in our ranking of top chains with specific craveable items, after comfort-food havens like Portillo’s, Cinnabon and Penn Station. It illuminates a trend we’ve seen throughout our research in recent years, where chains known for both healthy and indulgent food are neck and neck in getting consumers’ attention. Notably though, Sweetgreen is the only salad chain that made the craveable list - it was followed in the ranking by Krispy Kreme, White Castle and In-N-Out.
