Two years ago, we launched Dateability! Our idea stemmed from personal needs and we used our instincts to bring our vision to life. Now, 2 years later, we are incredibly proud to have had a hand in so many love stories. We couldn’t have accomplished this without our community, so we want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has come along for the journey; your patience, kindness, and support truly drives us. Cheers to TWO years… and many more! ✌️🥂❣️ ••• [Image Description: A red “Two” in shiny balloon letters is at the top with “years” under it. Thank you, LiveNOW Fox, for sharing our story in honor of National Disability Employment Month! 📺 https://lnkd.in/gSrhEFGz

October is National Disability Employment Month. The workforce has historically been unkind to disabled people, which has triggered systemic damage resulting in negative stereotypes & stigmas from both outside AND within the community. Many disabled people are able to participate in the workforce, but that doesn't always mean we are welcomed. We must continue to fight for workplace accommodations, equal wages, and inclusive working environments. 💼 [Image Description: A wheelchair user working on a computer wearing headphones. Text in various colors on the photo says, "Disabled people are: intelligent, hardworking, employable, deserving of an equal wage."]
