We unlock the data our partners need to make investment decisions, expedite tech development and maximise patient impact

About us

datosX Digital Health Labs has developed a unique platform that systematically tests digital health technologies so life science companies, health systems, and digital health companies have the insights needed to advance product development and enhance patient impact. Get in touch to find out more at info@datosXdhl.com Efficiently generating this level of data has historically been a challenge for our industry. Life science companies, VCs, and digital health startups often struggle to collect the data they need to determine which digital health technologies work, don’t, and/or which need to be reformulated, leaving healthcare providers and patients to deal with the consequences of working with technology that has not been assessed to fit their specific need. As a result, many either don’t collect the relevant data, risk investing in suboptimal technology, decline to move forward, or use high cost methods that require significant resources and considerable time to execute. At datosX Digital Health Labs, we work with our extensive network of leading healthcare systems and partners to design and execute the most effective studies. We unlock the data our partners need to make investment decisions, refine and expedite tech development.

  • Our partners at Manos Health are doing some amazing things! Make sure to check out this workshop on May 2nd taught by the one and only Ben Rosner, MD, PhD!

Founder @ Manos Health | Eliminating the 4 BIGGEST obstacles digital health products face | $100M+ value generated, 22+ products launched | Twin Dad

On May 2nd, we’re unveiling a workshop called 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬-𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬, which will be taught by digital health luminary, 𝐁𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐃, 𝐏𝐡𝐃.  In addition to being the Manos Health Lead Medical Advisor, Dr. Rosner is also an Associate professor at UCSF, a veteran digital health researcher, and a practicing hospitalist physician. Dr. Rosner has the perfect background for this topic, because he has expertise in running complex clinical studies at the large AMC level and has practically navigated generating evidence as part of previous digital health launch teams. Basically, he knows the science and the business. He will be walking you through the practical steps you need to take to run a validation study that will support your sales. This is not an academic class on how to run a randomized control trial solely for investigative academic journal publishing. Our process focuses on designing and executing studies that prove your solution works so that you can attract your dream customers. This is the same method we have used with our multi-billion-dollar clients to build, prove, and launch profitable digital health products: It is perfect for those who are investing heavily in building digital health products (or healthcare adjacent, even if it’s not tech) but aren't seeing the expected returns. Or if you are currently building out your product and want to ensure you are “sales-ready” down the road. Why is this workshop a game-changer for you? Sales-focused clinical trials are the key to success in healthcare: learn how to change a cost driver into revenue generation. Knowing when you are ready is the first step: understand how to know and prepare for a study and figure out what type is best for you (and most cost effective). Executing a clinical trial doesn’t have to be overwhelming: walk step-by-step with us as we take you through 10 basic steps, from choosing where to start, to marketing your results. Converting our study to sales and marketing will get you to the next level: discover tactics for converting a scientific study to marketing materials to attract your dream buyers. This workshop is not just about collecting evidence; it's about transforming that evidence into a strategic advantage and a clear path to sales. Who Should Attend: Founders, Health-Tech Executives, Heads of Commercialization, Scientific Chairs and Product Leaders. Are there any bonuses? You bet. We’re going to give away our: 🧬 Study Type Diagnostic: A list of questions that will help you target what types of study might be right for you. 📈 Marketing Dissemination Templates: Documents that will help you promote your clinical study in marketing materials and on social media. ✅ Getting Started Checklist: Use this to make sure you are ready to engage in a study and avoid re-work and costly missteps down the road. Mastering Data Like It's Your Most Valuable Asset - with this slated as one of the key themes for #VIVE2024, we couldn’t wait to get ourselves to LA, connect, listen and learn from more #data evangelists. From the various and varied conversations, presentations, panels, and Q&As, here are 5 things we heard: o  More is more: Healthcare systems are moving away from point solutions and looking for something more comprehensive that provides multiple benefits, squarely addresses their strategic objectives, and/or seamlessly integrates into their existing IT infrastructure.  o  Value-based care is critical: Healthcare systems are interested in technologies that have a commercial model that makes sense in the ”fee-for-service” space, in the context of value-based care and everything in between. While this is a tall ask for innovators, it seems critical for Healthcare systems who understand and expect reimbursement models to continue to change in the near and mid-term. o  Partner potential is on the up: As we move towards more value-based care / hybrid reimbursement models, the Healthcare system and Payer dynamic is shifting, increasing their collaboration potential. With incentives between the two parties becoming more aligned, more opportunities for solution developers, able to partner effectively with both, are being created. o  Self help before others: Healthcare systems seem to be doubling down on technologies that help providers be more efficient. Why? Because helping providers means helping patients. o  Data is the currency of digital health! Healthcare systems need more proof points on technologies before investing and/or adopting them. It remains true that a Healthcare systems’ resources (IT, clinical, and operational) are limited; factor in the challenging macroeconomic environment and its clear to see that their ability to “gamble” and take risks on technologies is finite. They need to make smart bets before choosing whether or not to scale technologies and are looking at data to help do this in an effective and efficient way.   If you left with other takeaways, please share them below. We’d love to see them!   As always, it was great to catch up with so many colleagues and partners at this event. The buzz was palpable, the vibe infectious, and we’re already looking ahead to our next event!

Something that is near and dear to my heart is DEI. In the corporate world, within the healthcare space, and in society at large, we still have a long way to go. I had the pleasure of discussing my thoughts on how to establish a more inclusive environment with MM+M.
