Dav-Lin volunteered in this year's Jax Adaptive Halloween costume build which provides wheelchair-friendly costumes for kids with disabilities. Brandon Pourch with RS&H has been leading this amazing organization for the past 10 years. Dav-Lin's senior project manager Bender Middlekauff volunteered in 2020 and wanted Dav-Lin's employees to get involved too. Of course, Dav-Lin gravitated towards the bulldozer costume being in construction! This year there were 10 costumes built for the 10 year milestone of Jax Adaptive Halloween. The big reveal was on Wednesday. It was amazing seeing the children's faces light up with joy. Dav-Lin cannot wait for next year. The Company was founded in 1987 under the name Dav-Lin Construction Company, Inc. In 1994 a new branch of the Company was incorporated as Dav-Lin Interior Contractors, Inc. with a focus on commercial interior renovations and buildouts. In 2001, Dav-Lin Interior Contractors, Inc. was purchased by Allen Stevens. Under Allen Stevens' leadership, Dav-Lin Interior Contractors grew in size and volume, to become the premier commercial interior renovation & buildout contractor in Jacksonville. In June of 2022, the company was acquired by a local family Private Equity Firm and renamed Dav-Lin, LLC. The new Ownership has not changed Dav-Lin’s focus on customer satisfaction and goal to be the best interior renovation contractor in Jacksonville.

Dav-Lin completed a buildout for Medical Microinstruments, Inc. (MMI Inc) in Q1 of 2024 at 5022 Gate Pkwy N. These bold colors, clean, and minimalistic design make a conducive environment for innovation which MMI is at the forefront in their field! MMI manufacturers the world's smallest wristed robotic instruments and advancing microsurgery for patients, surgeons, and hospitals. Design: Connie Turner Interiors Engineering: POWELL & HINKLE ENGINEERING, P.A. Previous Building Owner: Taurus Investment Holdings, LLC It was announced on Aug. 28th that the five-building industrial park was acquired by Merritt Properties, LLC. It will be renamed Merritt at Gate Parkway. Dav-Lin is currently working on the Rogers Towers, P.A. project renovating the 14th and 15th floor in the Riverplace Tower with our trusted design partner Hoefer Welker and property manager Acram Group. Founded in 1905, Rogers Towers, P.A. is one of Florida's oldest and most established law firms. After successfully completing 14th floor interior buildout at the end of June, we are making great progress on the 15th floor. The panorama views from this building of the St. John's River are spectacular. We cannot wait to share some of the before and after photos once complete! Fun fact: Our general superintendent, Donnie Fine, and project superintendent, Hawk Fine's father worked in constructing this building back in the 1960's. Dav-Lin's own commercial interior buildout is underway for our new HQ! We relocated in July to our new home at 9000 Cypress Green Drive. Our trusted partner Connie Turner Interiors is designing our new office building. It is also where Dav-Lin's owner, Indigo South Capital, and our sister company's office personnel Chancey Metals, LLC are located, so we are all under one roof. After 24 years on Phillips Industrial Ln and 11 years in our previous building, Dav-Lin is doing what we do best - interior buildouts! We are also preparing for the future! We recently completed a buildout for Stellar Energy Americas for their new international Headquarters. The project was located on the top two floors of the former Allstate Campus, now known as The Pondry, at 4920 San Pablo Road S. owned by Trevato Development Group. The feature piece of this project included furnishing and installing a monument spiral staircase that connected the two floors. Valerio Dewalt Train was the Architect of this beautiful space. Revitalizing Concourse's Dining Experience 🛠️ In the wake of COVID-19's impact, Concourse faced the challenge of reimagining its dining amenities for returning tenants. After the previous tenant had to close its full kitchen café, Building Ownership and the NAI Hallmark Management team decided to evaluate options for providing quick and healthy meals and snacks in a new environment. NAI Hallmark partnered with Studio 9 Architecture to design a modern, clean environment that would be an inviting hangout for tenants during lunch or anytime during the day and Dav-Lin, LLC stripped the space back to bare walls and brought the vision to life. The goal was to create not just a café space, but more of a tenant lounge complete with farmhouse tables and booths for sharing meals, seating areas with sofas and chairs, Wi-Fi, and televisions on the walls where tenants can gather and socialize. Canteen (a Compass Group USA company) came in as the food solution by providing a grab-and-go market with fresh sandwiches, wraps, breakfast items, yogurts, and a wide variety of traditional snack foods and drinks. The results have been positive! Tenants are pleased the café has filled a void of healthy, nutritious food choices and allows them to spend time in a bright and happy environment. An outdoor seating area is also in the works where tenants will be able to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather around the property’s private courtyard and pond.
