Job Summary: As the social media officer, you will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage the company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. You are expected to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s view creatively, handle our social media presence ensuring high level of web traffic and customer engagement which should translate to the organisation growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Performance research on current benchmark trend and audience preference • Design and implement social media strategy to align with the business goal • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (original text, photos, videos etc) • Be on-site and at events to generate contents from events • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics; ensuring quantitative analysis of the website traffic • Collaborate with other teams especially the food and beverage department (Production and banquet) • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in timely manner and monitor customer reviews • Identifies customers’ needs and responds proactively to all of their concerns liaising with the Food and Beverage department • Oversee social media accounts design (face book timeline cover, profile pictures etc) • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness like promotions, engaging influencers etc • Informs the management of any prerequisite to drive brand awareness and generate leads. • Stay up to date with current technologies and trend in social media, design tools and applications JOB REQUIREMENTS B.Sc/ HND Marketing, Business Administration or Any related discipline.
