A longtime tradition at DBL Law was started by Jack LaVelle, the 'L' in our name, who brought us together each year to reflect on the year past and look ahead to the year to come. While some say Jack, a man who truly loved the law and lived life to the fullest, was just eager to enjoy a Manhattan or two and trade war stories with colleagues, the ritual has since become an important part of our culture. This year, we not only honor Jack's legacy but also remember our dear friend, Pat Crowley, who passed suddenly this week.
