About us
DCL ENGINEERING is a multi-discipline consulting firm committed to understanding and meeting the needs of our clients by providing innovative design solutions with the highest level of quality and professionalism. We understand the importance of being consultants to our clients, not just engineers. For each project, we like to study different options based on design approach, initial and life cycle cost, constructability, and/or future adaptability or resiliency. Once all factors have been thoroughly evaluated, we proceed to develop solutions. We also recognize the importance of remaining flexible and striving for the strong collaborative skills necessary for delivering projects without interruptions or delays. Our core team is comprised of high-level professionals with significant experience in their related areas who pride themselves on efficient and effective team communication, development of detailed documents, and short response times. HOSPITAL INFRASTRUCTURE: including systems for chilled water, heating/steam, power distribution, emergency power, and information technology. Specifically, we have developed a deep understanding of how to work with the state regulations for healthcare (AHCA). PHARMACEUTICAL AND CLEAN ROOM INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN: including systems for chilled water, heating/steam, power distribution, emergency power, and information technology. Specifically, we have exquisite experience with the United States Pharmacopeia Standards (UPS-795, USP-797, USP-800 & USP-825). MECHANICAL SOLUTIONS: focus on planning and designing energy-efficient systems without compromising required or desired temperature, humidity, and ventilation standards to each unique space. ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS: focus on planning and designing systems that provide efficient, reliable, resilient, and high-quality power distribution. PIPING AND FIRE PROTECTION SOLUTIONS: focus on the planning and design of piping for the efficient transport of liquids and gases

“Total cost was very similar, but time to market was wildly different,” Scott Cantley, CEO of Memorial Health System says. For a revenue-producing component like an emergency room, the 15-month faster delivery promised by a modular approach was a powerful advantage. “The key to these savings is performing site work in parallel sequence with off-site construction,” Cantley says. “We had extensive site work, but it was all happening while the building was being built.” In fact, he notes, on-site module assembly wound up waiting for site work to be completed. https://lnkd.in/evFj3XDb
