Aiming to build on his strong analytic and procurement contracting background, Kiet H. Truong joined #DCMA in 2012. Truong drew leadership’s attention by helping stand up the Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program and training corporate/divisional administrative contracting officers to use the system. This, and his effort to drive warfighter support initiatives, led to his nomination to the distinguished U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.

Unless Congress acts, funds have not been appropriated for the continuation of normal operations beyond midnight, September 30. DCMA employees should take this time to connect with their supervisors to obtain additional information regarding the effects of a shutdown. Total Force has compiled a comprehensive collection of lapse-of-appropriation and furlough guidance and resources on DCMA’s 365 site, which should answer most of your questions. In the case of a shutdown, 365 will not be accessible and any information will be provided on the DCMA public website, www.dcma.mil, and our pages on LinkedIn and Facebook. #shutdown
