On February 6th, the "Fissati per la #CO₂" conference was held at Politecnico di Torino, organized by the NODES project "GRIP." The event was entirely dedicated to CO₂ capture and utilization, covering topics ranging from the current state of CO₂ #emissions and #climatechange to an in-depth exploration of various CO₂ capture and utilization #technologies. Hysytech presented the different technologies it has been involved in, focusing on their development and demonstration at TRL levels 3 to 7. The company showcased its latest advancements in Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) technologies, including #PowerToGas, #Electrochemistry, #CarbonCapture, and Biological #CO2 #Conversion. These technologies were developed as part of several key #projects, including RECODEH2020, OCEAN, ENGICOIN, STOREnGO, SunCoChem, FRESH Project, Celbicon - European Project, CATCO2NVERS, METHAREN, DECADEproject and licrox_project.

Success for the DECADEproject! 🎉 I'm excited to share that our scaled-up electrochemical prototype for CO2 conversion and ethanol oxidation has been successfully validated outdoors under solar irradiation at the Università degli Studi di Messina! ☀️ The prototype was manufactured by Hysytech S.r.l., with solar modules provided by Forschungszentrum Jülich.
