Assembled into this animation, observations from NASA’s Goldstone Solar System Radar show the tumbling asteroid 2024 MK shortly after it made its closest approach to our planet, 184,000 miles (295,000 kilometers), or slightly more than three-quarters of the distance between the Moon and Earth, on June 29. Earth’s gravity slightly altered the 150-meter-wide asteroid’s orbit as it passed. Credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech Deep Space Dynamics #wedeliver

Man goes to Mars. What man needs to live on Mars is not on Mars. We find that in the belt.
About us
Deep Space Dynamics' core mission is to prevent asteroid impacts on Earth. By deploying a constellation of CubeSats closer to the Sun, the company establishes an early warning network for detecting hazardous asteroids and uses solar sails to redirect them safely. Additionally, the fleet surveys asteroids for valuable resources, addressing the scarcity of rare earth elements on Earth and Mars. Deep Space Dynamics generates revenue through government contracts, subscription services, data sales, and bespoke services for various space agencies. With its innovative technology and multifaceted business model, the company is positioned to support planetary defense and resource exploration, ensuring a sustainable and prosperous future.

Had #Juice been coming from Sunward, we would never have seen it. "On 6 July, a previously undetected object triggered the automated ESA and NASA warning systems that alert the global hashtag #PlanetaryDefence community of a new potentially hazardous asteroid approaching our planet. It turned out that this object, estimated at around 50 m in diameter, was much smaller, harmless, and even had a name: Juice." By the time an asteroid gets this close to Earth, it is too late to safely move to a new orbit. We have to make slight adjustments (1/100th of a degree) between the orbits of Mercury and Venus, sending such rocks to safe pre-approved locations. Deep Space Dynamics #wedeliver

This is a great animation of stable Near Earth Asteroids. What it doesn't show are asteroids with eccentric elliptical orbits. Such asteroids move with more comet-like orbits and will approach Earth from sunward. Imagine I shine a flashlight in your face while tossing one grain of sand at a time at your nose. You may see that grain of sand a tic before it hits you on the noggin. You may not. That is where we stand with asteroids with eccentric orbits. These eccentric rocks or gravel piles move at nearly 12 km/sec. For improved detection and diversion, we must have an early warning detection system closer to the sun; a dew line for a different potential apocalyptic strike. We have the solution at Deep Space Dynamics. #wedeliver United States Space Force Space Force Cadet Corps US Air Force School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS) United States Air Force Small Business Office, Air Force Sustainment Center Department of the Air Force (USAF & USSF) Chief Modeling & Simulation Office US Army Naval Special Warfare Center Marine Corps Systems Command U.S. Coast Guard SDA TAP Lab National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) SpaceX

Dawn, the first spacecraft to orbit two extraterrestrial destinations - Vesta and Ceres - showcases an incredible proof of concept beyond Mars. At Deep Space Dynamics, our goal is to make multiple stops on every mission to send back valuable data, paving the way for a more promising future for all mankind. #wedeliver

Deep Space Dynamics is dedicated to safeguarding our planet from sunward Earth-bound asteroids by focusing on early detection and interdiction. Our approach involves strategically placing CubeSats in stable orbits for observation and utilizing long elliptical orbits for effective interdiction. #SpaceTechnology #AsteroidDefense #CubeSats U.S. Cyber Command Navy SBIR/STTR Transition Program (Navy STP) Small Business Office, Air Force Sustainment Center US Army NASA Ames Research Center NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory SpaceX United States Space Force Catalyst Accelerator Colorado Springs
