I was so excited and proud of the fact that Odysseus landed on the moon yesterday with our ROLSES instrument, I decided to write our first DeepSpace blog about it! Enjoy, and feel free to ask me anything, especially about the signal processing technology used on the instrument! https://lnkd.in/eX7jz6rX

Proud, anxious, and excited - These are the three words that adequately describe how I'm currently feeling about the early morning Valentine's Day SpaceX launch of Intuitive Machines Odysseus lander. Attached to this lander is a payload called ROLSES, a Lunar Spectrometer I delivered on June 28th, 2021, my last day at NASA Goddard before launching DeepSpace Technologies, Inc. We built this thing from scratch in 2 years - from a design that started on a single sheet of paper. I used MathWorks Simulink HDL Coder to speed up the development of the spectrometer. Hopefully Odysseus lands on the moon safely and we get to see some radio spectra soon! https://lnkd.in/eXPf-gAu
