September was another great month for DCT! Check out the updates from our Executive Director Andy Volenik!
Another month has came and went at Delaware County Transit and we are just buzzing around here! With our Board's approval our Strategic Plan in March, we have expeditiously moved on service improvements, notably, expanding our hours of service in July. We reaping the dividends of this investment! September Ridership Updates! - 13,279 trips provided! Not a record BUT this is the THIRD month in a row of serving over 13,000 trips! - Single highest day with 673 trips provided on Sept. 20th; - a 48.55% improvement from Sept. 2023; - Averaged 612 daily trips, an increase from July's average of 562; - Holding steady at 45% app usage for scheduling trips. - 111,233 trips served YTD (we did 118,000 last year...) With this...we aren't even close to done yet! October 14th, we are launching our first new zone since FLEX's inception in 2020. We are going to provide robust microtransit service for the communities of City of Sunbury, Ohio, and portions of Village of Galena, Ohio and Berkshire Township. Excited is an understatement! We are prepared to give Sunbury, Galena and Berkshire this amazing service!
