Secure Delaware Workshop 2024 - Call for Speakers Secure Delaware 2024 Cyber Security Conference will be an in-person only event. The conference will be held at the University of Delaware Clayton Hall on October 29th. We are currently seeking engaging speakers to share information on key cyber topics. This year's focus will be to provide a more experience-driven, interactive and hands on emphasis for Cyber Security. We are looking for demonstrations and activities related to the following: Anatomy of an Attack; Hands on Interactivities (50 min. ex: Capture the Flag/Hack-a-thon); 2024 Cyber Security Threats and Trends; Legal/Insurance/Privacy related topics; Cyber Security Education and Employment; Connecting Cyber Security with AI; Security and Forensics around recent events; Social Engineering; Internet of Things; Identity Management; Election/Health Security; and/or MITRE/ATT&CK updates. Speakers must attend the conference in person. All speakers should complete the below survey to submit their presentation topics no later than July 12th. Thank you for your interest in participating in our event and your dedication to keeping the citizens and businesses of Delaware cyber secure.

Earlier today, our CIO Greg Lane had the honor of attending the dedication ceremony for a new monument commemorating Delaware's unique role in Brown v. Board of Education. The event took place on the grounds of Legislative Hall, just a day before the 70th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's landmark 1954 school desegregation decision. It was a powerful and moving experience to witness this important moment in history.
