Happy 50th Anniversary to Dell Med’s Family Medicine Residency Program! 🎉 Over the past 50 years, the program has graduated 300+ trainees, with 245 staying in Texas as primary care physicians. These alumni are leaders in HIV medicine, sports medicine, hospice and palliative care, population health, community medicine and much more — making a profound impact every day. To celebrate 50 years, the program’s residents, alumni, faculty and community partners gathered together in honor of the milestone for leadership and alumni presentations, a panel discussion and to hear the Travis County Commissioner’s Court official proclamation of 2024 as the program’s 50th year. Here’s to celebrating the past, present, and future of family medicine at Dell Med, and to another 50 years of excellence! 🩺✨
