We kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month by joining community celebrations across Delaware! From the Latin American Community Center event to the Calle 4 Hispanic Parade, and the Hispanic Heritage Festival, we were proud to be part of these vibrant celebrations. Hispanic Americans represent 10% of Delaware’s population, but only 2% of our donor base. As Director of Community and Stakeholder Relations, Yadira Navarro, emphasized, increasing genetic diversity in our donor pool leads to better outcomes for patients. Help us change that by becoming a donor and making a lifesaving impact in your community. #hispanichertiagemonth #blooddonation #blooddonor #donateblood #bloodcenter #delaware
