Delphinus Engineering has an immediate need for a qualified Welding Program Manager to support our team and the US Navy in Norfolk, VA. Candidate will act as the authority on interpretation and evaluation of welding requirements results in terms of existing specifications, codes, standards, or procedures. Weld Program Manager should have sufficient practical background in marine structural and piping materials used in fabrication in accordance with T9074-AD-GIB-010/1688, MIL-STD-1689, S9074-AR-GIB-010/278, and product technology to establish welding requirements and inspection techniques for welding (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW spray and GMAW Pulse) and brazing. Manager will ensure the requirements set forth in the company processes and QA Manual are adhered to and enforced. In honor of National Service Dog Day, PEO Aircraft Carriers offers a hearty Bravo Zulu to past, present and future four-legged CVN shipmates! The Navy’s Expanded Operational Stress Control (E-OSC) canine pilot program partners with Mutts With A Mission, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Virginia Beach, Virginia that trains service dogs for disabled veterans, first responders, and law enforcement at no cost to the recipients. Through this program, Sailors on the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) served with Sage, and Demo joined the crew of USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) on their most recent deployments to offer therapy and stress relief while underway. In addition to comforting Sailors on deployment, dogs from Mutts With A Mission have also visited Sailors serving on aircraft carriers in maintenance availabilities, including a visit to USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77) in May. #AircraftCarriers #NationalServiceDogDay
