🚨 In preparation for Hurricane Milton, 26 U.S. Navy MH-60R Seahawks and approximately 200 personnel from Naval Station Mayport and Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida have relocated to Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. This move is being made to protect the aircraft and personnel from the potential impacts of the hurricane, and to ensure they can quickly return to their home base and resume operations once the storm has passed. While at Maxwell, they will continue to maintain their readiness to respond to emergent situations that may arise. #HurricaneMilton #USNavy

National Heroes’ Day, celebrated annually on October 8 in the United States, reminds us of the inspiring individuals we look up to. Defining the word ‘hero’ goes beyond extraordinary acts, encompassing qualities that encourage strength, intelligence, kindness, and consideration for others in challenging situations. Whether on the battlefield or in everyday life, heroes can inspire positive change.
