It's another milestone day at Delray for our cardiovascular and cath lab teams! ❤ This week we celebrated performing 150 PFAs (Pulse Field Ablations)! 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ Delray Medical Center was the first hospital in Palm Beach County to offer the FARAPULSE™ Pulsed Field Ablation System, a newly approved device for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, the most common type of heart arrhythmia. The first procedure using the new system was performed at the hospital on April 2, 2024. Delray Medical Center is pleased to announce that Renee J. Stincer, RN, BSN, CRRN, has been promoted to Director of Rehabilitative Services. Prior to this role, Renee served as the Assistant Director of Pinecrest Rehabilitation Inpatient and Outpatient Wound Care. Renee began her career at Delray Medical Center in March 2013 as an Oncology Nurse. From there, she became the Clinical Manager for Pinecrest. During her tenure at Delray, she has served in numerous nursing leadership positions including Interim Administrative Director of Inpatient Surgical Services.
