A huge thank-you to the Arkansas dentists who are volunteering today during the third annual Operation Stand Down. In Little Rock, the Ned Alley DDS, PLLC dental practice served as one of seven host sites for dental professionals to donate their time, expertise and compassion to provide free dental care for eligible veterans, while a grant from the #deltadentalarfoundation provided funding for supplies. For many veterans, it’s been years since their last dental visit. Today, they are getting the relief and care they need. “Vets have served our country, and serving them today is one way for us to give back,” said Dr. Alley. Many dentists volunteering today serve on our board and/or are network providers, and we’re humbled and deeply grateful for their generosity and goodwill. Y’all know Zach, our friendly dinosaur who teaches kids how to brush and floss. He’s on Cloud 9. Because. He. Was. On. TV! Yesterday, he accompanied Dr. Keith Jones of Small Bites Dentistry (and one of our board members) to KATV’s Little Rock ARC with Isley Gooden. Dr. Jones explained how parents could teach their kids to enjoy Halloween and occasional other sweet treats and keep healthy smiles.
