Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation has supported Well Child Center through our Community Grants program for over seven years. This sustained funding has helped ensure oral health is accessible for Illinois children, particularly benefiting families with low incomes below the federal poverty line. On #WorldSmileDay, we’re celebrating the smiles cared for at the Inclusive Care Clinic at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry since its opening in March 2024. Individuals with disabilities often face challenges accessing health care. The Inclusive Care Clinic provides care for patients with disabilities, including Alzheimer’s disease, autism, behavioral conditions, dementia, mental illness, and physical disabilities, as well as an essential hub for clinical opportunities for future dental professionals. Support from Delta Dental of Illinois helped, the clinic increase access to care. We are proud to help support health equity and drive better outcomes for those in our communities.
