Join us for our Third Annual Golf Outing! We are hosting our third annual golf outing at Meadows Golf Course on Saturday, September 28th, starting at 9am. We are looking for sponsors to support our event, as well as players to hit the greens. This is our largest fundraising event of the year with all proceeds going to supporting our chapter. Last night I had the honor of organizing and moderating a panel event, Doing Business Globally, for my co-ed business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. The panel discussion included topics of market entry, market expansion, global adaptation, personal and professional growth, and fun stories of being abroad. A big thank you to the panelists, Carlos Costa, Anna Bryce, Paul Madden, and Jerry DiTrapani, for their informative and engaging insights into the world of global business. Last Thursday I had a great opportunity to organize a community service event for Delta Sigma Pi-Lambda Xi we made 12 blankets for the Non-profit Angels of Action! I would like to thank Anthony Joseph for his guidance in running my first event.
At our last brother meeting we welcomed Ron Winowiecki who recently retired as the CFO at Perrigo. He gave an inspiring talk on personal finance and becoming your own CFO. He gave us valuable information about budgeting and how to use our money wisely. Thank you Ron for coming to speak with us, and thank you to alum Taylor Winowiecki for making this happen!
On Friday, we hosted a panel with Meijer employees to talk about transitioning into the workplace after graduation. They gave insights into their career paths and what has helped them after college. Thank you to our VP of Professional Events, Jack Beffel, and brother Jack Freeman for setting this up!
