For the design of MOLLIE Aspen, CCY sought to create a context-specific envelope that, while blending seamlessly into the historic fabric of #Aspen, also delivers sustainable, top of the line performance in the formidable #Colorado climate. To achieve one aspect of this ambition, CCY partnered with #Austin-based lumber manufacturer, Delta Millworks, to clad the majority of the project in warm Accoya wood siding. It's truly a pleasure and privilege for us at The Beck Group to participate in projects that invest in our community, supported by our non-profit The Beck Foundation, but we could not do it without our generous partners. The work on the mailbox shade structure and mural at Community First! Village has been especially rewarding because we've had the chance to work alongside talented trade partners and witness the generosity of other groups that also care about our community. To highlight some of these, Delta Millworks donated the wood soffit material for the canopies, Clean Scapes provided the landscape material and helped install it, TERRA DURA LANDSCAPES LLC fabricated the custom steel planters, Schmidt Electric Co., Inc. donated the electrical material and Weifield Group Contracting did the installation, Marek Brothers Construction Inc. provided scaffolding, Viking Fence/Viking Rentals provided the temporary fencing, Sherwin-Williams donated much of the paint for the canopies and street mural, and ALPHA PAINTING & DECORATING COMPANY and Cherry Coatings assisted with the paint installation.
