I had an amazing time representing Delver at Salesforce Connections #cnx24 last week! I had the privilege of attending a few insightful sessions from amazing leaders in our community, learning more about their experience as Salesforce customers. I couldn't include nearly all the great info from these sessions, but wanted to share a snapshot of my takeaways: Patrick Coglianese from ASICS Digital, alongside James Semple (Salesforce), discussed the Hub & Spoke strategy as the key to building a cutting-edge, composable SFCC environment. This helped unify all of the ASICS experiences for customers. David Oksman from Samsonite & Clark Burk discussed the Autobahn SFRA solution they launched with resounding success via RedVan! David advised businesses "slow down to speed up," going through a deep discovery to mitigate challenges & expedite sprints. They launched 8 sites in 8 months! Hitendra Sunkara of VF Corporation joined Kyle Montgomery to discuss VF's complex, unified Salesforce environment using the MVP3 approach to deploy Headless sites across 6+ brands, with 10+ running altogether on SFCC. Clay Wright of American Outdoor Brands Inc. talked about the benefits of moving from Headless to Composable, leveraging Capgemini's (Dave Haas) Composable Accelerator and ChatGPT script. Composable enabled integrated purchasing capabilities, faster performance, more robust CMS platforms, and modernized & future-proofed their architecture. Frank DeMaria discussed MillerKnoll's 18-year partnership with Salesforce and the importance of building a strong business case for stakeholders with a clear ROI. He also advised setting up CI/CD processes, understanding how you're going to manage the platform for the long-term. Kimberly Brown walked us through the complexities of Darley's B2B/B2C/B2G (Business to Gov) model and the discovery process to decide on Salesforce Commerce on Core, enabling their growth-oriented strategy and unifying their Salesforce systems on the back-end in SF Core! Tracie Pruden discussed the evolution of Advanced Turf Solutions relationship with Salesforce, dating back 6 years to when they first implemented Sales Cloud. She emphasized the "Crawl, Walk, Run" approach which helped with Change Management, which was a major challenge when rolling out new platforms.
