If we’re not using technology to unleash positive creativity, what are we even doing here? Today marks a really fun milestone for my Demiplane fam and me: the release of an Omega-Level set of Character Tools for Marvel Entertainment's Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game. As excited as I am for us, I'm even more excited for Marvel fans. I can’t wait to see the legions of new Marvel Super Heroes the #TTRPG community is going to create with our new Character Builder. I can't wait to spot that "oh yeah, they're hooked now" look on brand new players' faces when they first experience that mix of exciting gameplay, social connection, and unleashed imagination that can only be found in TTRPGs. I can’t wait to hear about the epic adventures people have using our online character sheets, where all the rules are one click away so players can focus on the fun and excitement of their game. I can’t wait to entertain my friends with the upcoming Cataclysm of Kang campaign and Demiplane’s first original adventure, The Murderworld That Time Forgot. I've got a lot to look forward to! For my friends and colleagues who've been following Demiplane's growth, this marks the fourth gorgeous, immersive, powerful set of game-specific Character Tools we've launched this year. Since May, actually. It took an amazing team to get here. To my compatriots at Demiplane, a giant continued “thank you” for your vision, brilliance, and roll-up-the-sleeves hard work. To Carlos "CJ" Cervantes Jr. and Amir Osman and their collaborators at Marvel, you all are genuine True Believers and helped forge something special. To Matt Forbeck and the entire game team, thanks for giving Marvel fans like me a new way to experience these characters, places, and stories. And to those friends and colleagues who have been following along? 2023 isn’t over yet.
