Feeding people is what we do best, and we are so grateful for the community and team support as the MRD set up in Denny’s headquarter city of Spartanburg, SC to help those affected by Hurricane Helene. Thanks to our amazing suppliers and local community, we were able to deliver more than 3,400 meals over two days from the Mobile Relief Diner (MRD) in the City of Spartanburg. It’s moments like these that show us the strength of community and purpose. It was an honor to be in service for those in need; team members have been sharing stories about the personal impact volunteering and helping has had. Thank you to the SPARTANBURG COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE , Mayor Jerome Rice, Denny’s brand and franchise team members, and other local organizations for your support. The MRD is heading to Asheville, NC, another region hit hard by Helene. Beginning Friday, October 4, volunteers will be stationed at Lowe’s Home Improvement Center (95 Smokey Park Highway), serving meals 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily through Tuesday. We appreciate Lowe’s for their continued partnership that allows us to serve during times of crisis. First responders especially are welcome, as the backbone of recovery efforts. We’re here to support the Asheville community and couldn’t do it without the continued dedication of our volunteers and supporters.

Nurturing a workplace that values diversity and inclusion is critical for success, and leaders like Terri Gutierrez are helping pave the way. “I’ve had the privilege of leading the Hispanic Leadership Group at Denny’s, creating opportunities for cultural awareness and ensuring our Hispanic employees have the tools they need to succeed,” she shared. Through this group, Terri has introduced Spanish-language resources, webinars, and training support, breaking down language barriers and empowering team members across our organization. "Creating a legacy means leaving behind a path for others to grow and lead," she added. Terri continues to inspire us all with her dedication to making a positive impact in both our brand and the communities we serve. #HispanicHeritageMonth #Dennys

UPDATE: Denny's will be serving meals 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to the general public tomorrow, Sept. 30, at our Spartanburg offices (203 East Main Street). The offices are closed due to the extent of the damage in the area. A hot meal and warm smiles – both are on the way.    As members of our community are in need in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Denny’s will be serving stacks of warm, fluffy stacks of pancakes in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and the Florida Gulf Coast.    In partnership with the City of Spartanburg and American Red Cross, the Mobile Relief Diner, our 53-foot diner on wheels, will serve our community on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Denny’s location at 2306 Reidville Road in Spartanburg. First responders will be served first, beginning at 7 a.m.; we will be providing meals for the general public from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Monday, Sept. 30, the Mobile Relief Diner will serve meals at the Denny’s home office located at 203 East Main Street. Again, first responders will be served at 7 a.m., followed by general public from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.    After two events in Spartanburg, our Mobile Relief Diner will head to Florida’s Gulf Coast to serve meals in hard-hit areas.    In times like these, feeding our community is a small act that can bring comfort and happiness. Thank you to the Denny’s franchise and corporate stores who are providing volunteers to cook and serve meals, as well as our brand employees who live in Spartanburg and are coming out to volunteer in Florida in this time of need.    Please share this post if you are in the area and know of community members in need. #HurricaneHelene #DisasterRelief #Dennys #MobileReliefDiner

Happy National Pancake Day! For over 70 years, we have proudly served our guests the classic buttermilk pancake. So many pancakes that we now use more than 9 million pounds of buttermilk to satisfy the demand for our hot, fluffy pancakes. To celebrate this special day, Denny’s is offering all-you-can-eat stacks of our signature buttermilk pancakes for just $6 when you dine at participating locations. Indulge in the seasonal favorite Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes, made with real pumpkin purée and glazed pecans and topped with rich pecan pie sauce. Since debuting in 2016, this dish has become a Denny’s top seller, with nearly one million Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes sold in 2023 alone. But the flavor options don’t stop there! Denny’s has a variety of pancake options including Cinnamon Roll, Choconana, Double Berry, Berry Vanilla, and Hearty 9-Grain pancakes, as well as Cinnamon Sugar Pancake Puppies. On a day dedicated to pancakes, there's no better place than America's Diner to enjoy a delicious stack. #NationalPancakeDay #Dennys #AllYouCanEatPancakes #PumpkinPecanPancakes

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Denny’s with Noel Cruz We celebrate how Noel Cruz, a Denny’s franchise business coach, represents the brand as a hands-on resource during restaurant visits, particularly with Spanish-speaking staff during the launch of Learn Denny’s calls dedicated to those employees. By creating spaces where language is no barrier to growth, Noel continues to elevate our brand’s commitment to inclusion. As Noel reflects on the legacy he aims to build, he emphasizes: “It’s about being remembered for how you made people feel. I want to empower others to be the difference that makes the world a better place.” We’re proud to have Noel on our team and celebrate the passion and leadership he brings to the table every day. #HispanicHeritageMonth #Dennys

As part of Denny's commitment to honoring the rich cultural contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities, I'm proud to highlight the incredible story of one of our team members. Meet Noel Cruz, a franchise business consultant who has been with Denny’s since 2013. In his role, he works closely with franchisees, supporting their growth and helping drive sales and profitability across their restaurants. Noel has made an indelible mark across the Southeast region, from his start as a field learning manager in Florida and even internationally as he helped expand Denny’s presence in Mexico, Puerto Rico and Central America. When asked what Hispanic Heritage Month means to him, Noel said: “It’s a time to celebrate the contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. I participate in workplace events, share cultural insights, and strive to create an inclusive environment that values diversity ” Thank you Noel!

Denny’s mental health advocacy has been central to how we take care of our team members and communities. It was in this spirit that we partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery and OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network in connection with the OWN Your Health event series to host the second edition of the Community Health and Wellness series at the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival, an intimate dinner and discussion moderated by Jotaka Eaddy and featuring Grammy award-winning artist Raheem DeVaughn and psychotherapist Heather Primus, M.A., MFT. Our heartfelt appreciation to the Warner Bros. Discovery team, Laurie Shackell, Sheereen Miller-Russell, Kiko Restrepo and Porsche N., without whom we could not have brought this to life. Denny’s will continue to prioritize a more open national conversation on mental health through Community, our ongoing initiative that supports numerous efforts including mental health and well-being. #Dennys #OWN #WarnerBrosDiscovery #HealthAndWellness

What a kickoff to the college football season – the Denny's Orange Blossom Classic in Miami Gardens brought together sports fans from North Carolina Central University and Alabama State University for a multi-day celebration of athletics, academics and community. We had the privilege of connecting with school leaders, players, fans and friends and the locals of Miami Gardens across several events as we shared Denny's commitment to education and eradicating hunger issues through programs like Hungry for Education and CommUNITY. Thank you to Clyde Rucker for joining the Denny's team for the coin toss and Sabir Muhammad for helping to present the winning team, North Carolina Central University, with their trophy. The OBC team, led by Kendra Bulluck, put on an amazing event and we're grateful to work with them to benefit the schools and student-athletes and recognize the influence of HBCUs. #OrangeBlossomClassic #Dennys
