  • Today, on October 3rd, we recognize Latina Equal Pay Day and acknowledge the fact that Latinas earn only 57 cents for every dollar that white, non-Hispanic men earn. We are also proud to highlight DSF’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Kimberley Villegas, who was recently featured as a guest contributor in The Denver North Star. In her article, Kimberley shines a spotlight on DSF’s commitment to tackling economic inequity and overcoming systemic obstacles through our wraparound support services. • New this year, the Denver Business Journal introduced a program honoring leaders who are often the behind-the-scenes driving force behind a company’s operation: the CFO Awards. Nominees were selected based on their ability to provide financial guidance, execute the company’s business model, identify and manage risk, develop innovative strategies to reduce debt, achieve profitable growth, contribute philanthropically to their communities, and more. DSF is proud to announce that our very own CFO, Patti Schwartzberg, was nominated and became a finalist for this prestigious award! Join us in congratulating Patti and celebrating the incredible work she has done for the organization! 🎉
