Is it snowing by y’all too? ❄️ ⛄️ 🥶 Now is a good time to talk about Alice Parker, a Black woman who invented the gas (heating) furnace. She created an innovative way for us to stay warm throughout our entire house, without us having to all gather around a fireplace. 🙏🏾 There is little known about her personal life, but she did graduate from @howard1867 and is reported to have lived from 1895 (or 1885) -1920.
